Applying to post-secondary schools is a time of confusion for many students – Which school? Which program? What are the extra requirements? How can I meet the deadlines for supplementary applications and portfolios? We work with you one-on-one to identify your priorities, create a school list, make recommendations on how to evaluate a school and prepare for the supplementary requirements.

When you submit your supplementary essay or portfolio for a selective program, you are allowing the admissions committee a glimpse into who you are outside of an academic profile. They are also assessing your suitability as a candidate for that program.

The submitted document(s), therefore, need(s) to effectively communicate your uniqueness and relevance for the program. Our goal is to work with you to ensure your application highlights your profile and demonstrates you are the student they want in the program.
If the program you have applied for includes an interview, we work with you to prepare you for each of these beforehand with mock interviews to ensure you present your best self.

PLANNING

WHEN SHOULD YOU START?

The earlier you start, the more time you have to build a competitive profile for admission to selective programs and maximize your scholarship potential.

Many universities place a strong emphasis on your grades, but there is a trend developing among more selective schools and programs toward considering a student’s extracurricular activities as well as their GPA for admission.

Work with us to identify areas of interest to help you stand out from the other candidates.

Drawing on the information discovered during the self-discovery phase, we work with you to develop an academic plan to empower you to reach your academic and career objectives. We also develop a strategy to ensure that extracurricular activities are selected with an appropriate focus and rationale, and standardized tests or portfolio creation (if applicable) are planned suitably in relation to other commitments.

When we plan for a trip, we think nothing about researching our destination, considering how it will satisfy our needs, and packing our bags according to the weather, length of stay and activities.
Planning for your future career should involve the same detailed planning, but there aren’t many guidebooks available. That’s where Exclusive Educational Consultants step in to make certain that you are ready for your future with a defined pathway to the post-secondary destination where you will be academically, emotionally, and socially successful.
Planning for admission into your dream program is essential to minimize wasted time in high school and to maximize the chances of successful admission. We evaluate your current academic success and make adjustments based on the point you are at in your academic life.
